I read all three books and when I reached the end of this one I immediately searched to see if there was a book four. How can in end this way? I NEEEED to know what happens to all the characters.. so come on April.. publish book four already... what is going to happen to Ed and Mitzi!????I have not read the current vampire stories, but since this one had a talking poodle/vampire I had to read them. I agree with the rest of the reviews.. the sarcastic dog and the Count are two of my favorite characters. I read thru all three and enjoyed each one!

Mitzi Magee Nip in Time
Number three in the "Vampire Poodle" series, finds our heroes Ed Magee, his Vampire Poodle, Mitzi and his love, Clancy in England.
After being delayed return to the United States by the American Embassy, Ed, Clancy and Mitzi check into a B & B to await their passports. While waiting, Clancy disappears without explanation and Ed finds himself employed by "The Colonel" On the grounds of an olde English estate. Inhabited by three generations, ALL from equally olde English money and culture, Ed works as the Colonel's "assistant," and befriends the man's grandson, (who is surprisingly technically savvy,) and irritates his new friend's father.
Ed and Mitzi must find out what's happened to the beautiful Clancy, while at the same time, discover the reasons behind this new set of circumstances.
A VERY exciting read!
I really enjoyed the series.
I'm a poodle lover from way back so the title caught my eye first. Once I read the first book of the series I absolutely had to read the rest. Hopefully this isn't the last we see of Mitzi.
One of the best and most fun books I have read in years. If there were 10 stars I would rate it 12.
Really hoping that the series does not end on this "cliff hanger". I have read all 3 in the series and besides some typos and one bizarre switch in names that took a couple of readings to understand the "gist" it was a really great read. I really liked the character of Lester in this third book and hope that he makes an appearance again. He seemed like a lot of fun and could potentially be a worthwhile member of the team.
but this one intrigued me, and I'm glad I read it. It's a fun journey from a downed plane being circled by a shark, to the vampire hunters, including a telepathic dog, in a hotel room. It's well-crafted, very few typos (which do NOT, by the way, detract from the fun of the story) and the dog is hilariously sarcastic. Now I'm going to go read another of the trilogy.
