scott shallenbarger is a great playwrite and educator and i look very forward to more of his works. on stars not falling is beautifully written and i hope another performance comes to hphs.
I saw this play performed by the original cast of high school students, and to this day, it stands as the best and most emotional plays I have ever seen.
I have the honor to have Scott as a teacher and if you haven't yet seen or read this play I really don't know what you are waiting for. Also if you are currently in a production of this beautiful play please don't let Wings be portrayed as a stoner!!! It doesn't work well. anyways this play is such an inspiration!!!! Reading anything written by him is like hearing him talk!!! I highly recommend you read this and look for a production near you!! Ok thats my whole rant!!!
Amazing
I have seen this play performed several times and it never gets old - I find something new to learn, and love each time I see it. Scott Shallenbarger tells the story with great insight and tenderness - it's a must read for adolescents and teens alike. If you ever get the chance to see it performed, GO!
